A collection of illustrated prints (& bookmarks) to coincide with the imminent release of the new ’99 Documentary, focussing on the Manchester United side that won the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup 25 years ago under Sir Alex Ferguson.
First print features Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s iconic goal celebration after scoring United’s injury time winner against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final. Rushing to join the celebrations are Ryan Giggs, fellow goalscorer Teddy Sheringham, Dwight Yorke & David Beckham.
Second print illustrates Ryan Giggs’ unforgettable solo goal in the FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal. With the score at 1-1 in extra time and the Red Devils down to 10 men, Giggs seizes on a misplaced pass from Arsenal’s Patrick Vieira, motors past Martin Keown, Lee Dixon & Tony Adams, and slams the winning goal past David Seaman.
Third print shows the treble trophies – the Premier League held aloft by United Captain Roy Keane, the FA Cup raised by Paul Scholes after scoring United’s second goal against Newcastle, and the Champions League lifted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after United’s treble clinching victory over Bayern Munich.
Lastly a double-sided illustrated bookmark also marking Solskjaer’s last minute winner against Bayern.
